Overview

The Rhone-Route connects Oberwald and Geneva, passing through three completely different types of landscapes: alpine in Goms, widening in the Rhone valley, and scenic and cultural variety around Lake Geneva. The flat route profile makes it perfect for casual cyclists. Character Tour: Level 2. Hilly in the first sections in the high valley of Goms. From Brig, the Rhone-Route leads through flat areas and is suitable for leisure cyclists. From Sion, there might be headwind. A highlight is the tour through the vineyards of Lavaux. Urban sections may have traffic and busy roads.
