This self-guided cycling tour in Portugal takes you across the Algarve region for six days of lovely cycling, with no more than 60km per day. It uses independent, cycle-friendly hotels throughout. The tour is available on electric bikes and covers a rich variety of landscapes, from coastal tracks overlooking the Atlantic to inland fig, orange, and almond groves. It allows exploration of lesser-visited areas with authentic local produce, a laid-back ambiance, and welcoming atmosphere. The tour includes Loulé, Alte with its fresh spring water, and Silves on the Arade River. It also features the citrus orchards and natural hot spas of Caldas de Monchique, and the wild beaches of the Costa Vicentina Natural Park. The itinerary clocks between 32 to 60 km per day with ascents no higher than 400 meters. Extensions of daily rides are available.
