This private, guided mountain bike tour in the Atlas Mountains is a perfect long-weekend or short break. You will mountain bike through Morocco's Atlas Mountains, riding on jeep tracks, mule paths, singletracks and off-road trails. You will bike through Berber villages in the High Atlas Mountains outside of Marrakech, experiencing a true mountain bike adventure in Morocco. Explore the remote valleys and rustic Berber villages set against the dramatic scenery of Morocco’s Atlas Mountains. Along the way, your experienced guide will help you discover Morocco’s hidden riding potential each step of the way. This guided mountain bike tour is always run as a private tour for your group only. This tour can be customized for you, and prices depend on group size, room types, trip customizations, and date of travel. The guesthouses are rustic, but full of local character. The guesthouse rooms are either double occupancy or dormitory-style and offer shared facilities.

The ride starts with a climb to get the legs going.
After a pause for mint tea at the top, it’s onto some great singletrack, passing through local villages.
A pleasant riverbed makes for a great lunch spot before the dusty Moroccan single track continues.
A last short climb gets you to the final descent of the day heading into the village of Imi Oughelad where you will find your gite for the night.
Biking Imi Oughlad to Ouirgane: Awakening to the fresh mountain air of the High Atlas this morning, take a moment to admire your magnificent surroundings.
After breakfast, it’s time to hop back in the saddle for another day of adventuring on the bike.
Day 2 of your ride begins with a steady zigzagging ascent up a dirt road.
You’ll get fantastic views of the Maizane Valley from here, where vivid green fields contrast against rocky slopes leading to snow-capped summits.
At the Tachet pass, there is a pause for a well-earned drink.
From there, the singletrack drops through the atmospheric Azzaden valley and passes through several small villages dotted with characteristic stone houses.
Your journey ends at the scenic town of Ouirgane today where you’ll find your guesthouse.
Biking Ouirgane to Amizmiz: Waking up for the last morning in the peace of the Atlas Mountains, take a moment to appreciate the fresh mountain air.
Your last day’s riding passes through olive groves over the Tizi Ouzla pass into the Amizmiz valley and on to the Amizmiz Dam.
The ride covers some of the best flowing singletrack in the region as you cruise through villages and fields.
From the Dam, a transfer will take you back to Marrakech.
