Smrk/Swieradow Single track is a unique project in Eastern Europe, featuring a developed network of forest paths for cyclists that strictly adheres to preserving wild nature. Routes are predominantly one-way, narrow, and designed not to invade the natural environment. Crossings are bridged to prevent bicycle damage to natural banks. Paths are clearly marked with large information boards educating travelers about local flora and fauna. Rest areas are available with bins for rubbish disposal. No single track path overlaps with walking ways, ensuring safety for both cyclists and other tourists. Tourists are encouraged to use refillable water containers and pack their own food rations. All waste must be disposed of in provided bins, and travelers are educated on keeping the route clean, including collecting found garbage. These rules apply to both Polish and Czech sides of the Single Track. The holiday supports the local community through a family-run guesthouse offering apartments with kitchens for self-catering, using products from local shops. One hot meal per day (dinner) is served in a local restaurant or bar. The guesthouse is near a public aqua park, providing another opportunity to spend money locally. Tourists are encouraged to rent bicycles from nearby rental services to support local operators. Local MTB professionals are employed for basic training in MTB techniques. Local bicycle transporters are used for efficient and safe transfers to and from the starting points. The tours are designed to be inclusive and welcoming for all travelers, regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or nationality.
