Overview

The Challenging Swiss Alpine 8-day Self-guided Cycling Tour follows the Alpine Panorama Route across the northern Alpine foreland, known for its many passes and gorges, rich traditions, and mountain farms. This strenuous trip offers spectacular views and is considered the 'King of all routes' in Veloland Switzerland, spanning between Lake Constance and Lake Geneva. It reaches elevations up to 2000 meters and features 100% sealed roads, making it suitable for road bikes. The tour includes 7 nights of accommodation in 3-star hotels with breakfast, daily luggage transfers, luggage pick-up costs at the station, a subsidy for train arrival, a boat trip, a detailed route description, travel documents, a navigation app and GPS data, a one-year SwitzerlandMobility-Plus subscription, and a service hotline. Optional services include renting a 27-gear bike, road bike, or e-bike, a printed route book, and travel insurance. Car rental and Swiss Rail Passes are also available for those who prefer alternative travel arrangements.
