Overview

This tour in Piemont is a real treat for all cyclists! Staying in a wonderful hotel, you can discover a new highlight of the "Canavese" region every day. On your way, you will find historic castles, which have been waiting for centuries to welcome you. Natural lakes provide a welcome refreshment during an active day of cycling. Fine wines are produced in the vineyards, along the "Strada Reale dei Vini" – the royal wine route. Let yourself be tempted by one or two glasses of great Italian wine and follow the traces of the Franciscans on their way to Rome. There is a lot of variety in this region still largely undiscovered by tourists. After the tour you will agree with us - this trip is truly an insider's tip! The 4**** -hotel is located in the middle of the small medieval town of Romano Canavese. The villa was built in the 18th century and is surrounded by a private park with many refuges and thus it forms an oasis of tranquility and relaxation. Just under ten years ago, the villa was converted to a hotel by the owners and open to the guests. The stylish decorated rooms with spacious bathrooms leave nothing to be desired. Both the "Superior" rooms, mostly located in the modern part of the complex, and the "Deluxe" rooms in the historic building know how to convince with comfort. The hotel lounges are designed in a particularly charming and luxurious way. All rooms are still equipped with original furniture and take you back to ancient times. The old stable now houses a restaurant in which light, typical Piedmontese cuisine is served. The beautifully designed pool, sauna, steam bath and tennis court provide you with possibilities for a welcome change. All of this combined with the attentive staff will make your stay more than pleasant. The daytrips include flat and hilly stages. Every day there are one or two shorter climbs to be cycled. During the whole tour you will only come across one longer climb of approx 4km. You will cycle mostly on side and service roads, partly on cycle paths, but predominatly on asphalted roads. In cities and on short connecting roads, traffic is unfortunately unavoidable. 6 nights in a Superior room in 4* hotel (deluxe room available on request) Digital travel documents incl. navigation app, GPS-data, route book 1 Train journey from Strambino - Turin incl. your bike Wellness and spa area (The pool is open from approx 1 June) Service hotline If you would like to rent a bike (109 EUR) or E-bike (299 EUR) please email info@slowtours.com.au Departure daily Room upgrades available on request Extra nights - From 79 EUR p.p (+55 EUR single person) in a superior room Rental bike PLUS - 189 EUR on request Strambino train station Torino and Milano Malpensa airport Parking: limited number of free hotel parking spaces, hotel garage costs approx.
