A 7-day self-guided cycling tour in Germany, exploring the beautiful lake landscapes of Bavaria from Chiemsee to Konigssee. Immerse yourself in historical anecdotes, Bavarian customs, and special natural scenery. The tour is characterized as Level 2, meaning it's an easy tour with short daily stages and only a few ascents, with terrain that is only slightly hilly in parts. The route predominantly uses cycle paths, rural paths, and side roads, with only very short sections on roads with moderate traffic. Included in the tour are 6 nights accommodation in 3* hotels, breakfast, a welcome briefing, luggage transfer between hotels, and digital travel documents including a navigation app, GPS data, and route book. A boat ride on lake Chiemsee to the islands Herren- and Fraueninsel is also included. A service hotline is available. Arrival is by train to Prien, Bernau or Aschau, with Munich or Salzburg airports as options. Parking is available at hotels (limited free spaces or chargeable) or public parking spaces at Prien train station. Departure is by train from Berchtesgaden. A return transfer by minibus is available every Saturday morning at an additional cost.
