This exceptional bike and boat tour allows you to discover the exquisite natural beauty of South Dalmatia's iridescent islands and sublime coastline aboard a first-class motor yacht. You'll experience the sun-kissed splendor of coastal Croatia with its shimmering azure sea, stunning outcrops, and pristine beaches. The tour includes visits to the UNESCO old town of Trogir and the picturesque Old Town of Korčula, and you'll pedal into the lavender island of Hvar. The tour can be run in reverse depending on wind and weather. The tour offers cycling among walled fields, aromatic olive and fig groves, and fragrant lavender and rosemary fields. Highlights include the UNESCO World Heritage town of Trogir, Brač (known for the white marble used in the White House), Stari Grad, and the island of Vis (formerly a military zone inaccessible to tourists until 1995). You'll also have the opportunity to dine in a typical Dalmatian Konoba and ride on Hvar, noted as one of the 10 most beautiful islands in the world. An optional rafting tour on the Cetina River is also available. The tour takes place on the motor yacht 'Magellan', a Premier Class boat with 18 cabins and 2 decks, sailing the Adriatic waters. It features an elegantly furnished saloon and bar, as well as a covered aft deck. Bikes available include Electric Bicycles (Granville Urban, Cube Reaction Hybrid Performance, Cube Cross Hybrid Pro Allroad) and Gravel Bicycles (Gravel Bike Trek Checkpoint ALR 3). Accessories like pannier bags and helmets are provided. Rental helmets are available free of charge when reserved in advance. Private e-bikes are not allowed on board. Included services are an 8-day trip on a motor yacht with crew, 7 nights in a twin cabin with private facilities, electric bike rental, helmet rental, 2 full board and 5 half board meals, guided cycling tours, an English-speaking tour guide, and overview maps for daily tours. A required visitor's tax and bottled water flat rate (approx. €80 per adult, €40 per child) is not included and payable directly to the captain. Credit/debit cards are not accepted on board. This cycle tour requires a basic level of fitness. Routes go up to 657-1,640 feet (200-500 m) above sea-level, with daily mileage between 12-38 miles (20-50 km). The terrain is hilly and mountainous, primarily on asphalted roads with little traffic during the off-season. Participants can choose to cycle independently or with the guide and group. The guided group pace is determined by e-bike cyclists. Children should be in good physical condition with previous bike touring experience and be at least 16 years old. Minimum height for rental bikes is 1.20 m for standard bikes and 1.50 m for e-bikes. Helmets are required for children up to age 16 in Croatia. The nearest airport is Split (SPU), Croatia, which is only 4 miles (6 km) from Trogir's harbor. Zadar Airport is another option.
