This bike tour in Switzerland and Austria begins in St. Moritz, a chic alpine resort known for its lakes and sunny climate. From here, the route follows the Engadin Valley, often called the garden of the Inn River. Along the way, you’ll discover Romanesque churches, frescoed farmhouses, cobblestoned streets, and wildflower meadows before entering the Swiss National Park, a protected wilderness home to ibex, marmots, and golden eagles. Crossing into Austria, the trail passes the medieval Finstermünz Fortress and winds through Tyrolean villages dotted with castles and monasteries. Highlights include Imst, famous for its fountains and gorges, and the baroque Stams Abbey. The journey concludes in Innsbruck, the Olympic City surrounded by towering peaks. Here, Gothic arcades, the Golden Roof, and panoramic views from the Seegrube gondola provide a spectacular finale to your Inn Cycle Path adventure. Standard touring rental bikes are 7-speed unisex or 21-speed. There are two types of frames available for the 21-speed bike, a men's frame or a unisex frame.
