From Bavaria to the romantic Lake Garda - on this crossing of the Alps LIGHT you will master even the highest passes with organized transfers without any effort. The magnificent panoramic bike tour passes orchards and apple meadows, castles and monasteries and is thus also highly interesting from a cultural and historical point of view. The mighty Via Claudia Augusta pass road is a true feat of ancient engineering. The Romans created this first real mountain road over the Fern and Reschen Passes. Today it is one of the most remarkable Alpine crossings and allows cyclists to get to know the former domain of the Romans from its most beautiful sides. To finally reach Lake Garda by bike, you leave the Via Claudia route after Rovereto and finally reach the beautiful Lake Garda via Mori and Torbole/Riva. This tour also exists in an athletic variant! Mostly paved cycle paths and streets with less traffic. Partly on a gravelled surfaces. Comfortable use of the Via Claudia Augusta shuttle transfer over the 2 passes. The tour is suggested for children from 12 years on. Please be informed that these are hotel samples and therefore subject to alteration! You have the possibility to chose between the following bike types: 21-speed-touringbike (men- or women frame), 30-speed Superior (men or women frame), E-Bike (E-MTBs available for some tours). All touringbikes are equipped with a Shimo Alvia - derailleur gear, Shimano-V-brake, 28 zoll rim and a comfortable touringsaddle. The electro bike is equipped with a Shimano 8-speed system. You will use a 10 ampere battery for total enjoyment. With an E-bike every bike tour is a breeze! The shiftable, low noise electric drive of our modern electro bike relieves you of some of the work and increases the pedal force up to 3 times. Parking: Direct parking at the hotel Bayerischer Wirt (Hotel sample), reservation required. A parking fee of € 5,- per day will be charged. If you will be booked in a different hotel we kindly ask you to contact us for a parking alternative. Tourist taxes to be paid on spot.
