This six day mountain bike holiday in southern India offers a tailor-made itinerary over six days that features the back roads, biodiversity and naturally rugged beauty of southern India's Western Ghats. It includes rainforests, agricultural landscapes, plantations and lush green tea gardens. Accommodation is in bungalows on tea estates and spice plantations. Features include wilderness landscapes packed full of elephants, macaques and giant squirrels, a fantastically mixed terrain featuring numerous unique ecosystems, rainforests and grass plateaus at high-altitude, and spice and cardamom growing communities and tribal villages. This is an all-inclusive mountain biking tour with a 'Challenging' grade. Departures can be arranged on any day of the week and operates through the year, with a minimum of 2 persons required. The trip can be tailor-made to suit interests, time schedules, and budget requirements. Dietary requirements such as vegetarian and vegan diets can be catered for. This holiday contributes to local communities through employment as local trackers and guides, visits to their villages, and by staying in small single owner properties, small holdings or eco lodges.
