Arrival day: head straight to your hotel to check-in. Explore this charming city, rich in history and culture. Girona is renowned for its beautifully preserved Jewish Quarter, one of the finest in the world. Don’t miss the impressive Cathedral and a scenic walk along the medieval walls, offering breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Assistance with transfers upon arrival is available. Extra nights can be arranged for acclimatization or extended stay. Stage 1: Rocacorba loop. Starting in the center of Girona, the route winds through the scenic Llémena Valley before climbing the famous Rocacorba climb (970 m). After the tough ascent, enjoy a fast, flowing descent through Mediterranean forest trails back to the city. Stage 2: Els Angels loop. Starting from Girona you climb directly to the Sanctuary of Els Angels. Salvador Dalí got married to his wife Gala in its church. From there you will descent to Madremanya, a charming medieval village. Pointing north you will turn around the mountain range climbing again to Sant Miquel castle and returning down to Girona. Stage 3: Les Gavarres loop. Starting in the center of Girona, the route heads through the peaceful Sant Daniel Valley before climbing to the sanctuary of Els Àngels—where Dalí married Gala. At the top, enjoy a stunning 360° view over the Girona region, with especially wide-open vistas of the Empordà plain. From there, continue south toward Sant Mateu de Montnegre, home to a charming Romanesque church, before looping back to Girona. Stage 4: Vall del Llémena loop. Exit Girona to the west reaching Sant Gregori. From there start climbing a nice single track, to Les Serres and then down hill back crossing the river Ter to Bescanó and finally to Girona on the Greenway el Carrilet.
