Stage 1: Girona to Sant Feliu de Guíxols (56 km, 800m elevation gain) follows the El Carrilet greenway, traces the Onyar River, passes through the Gavarres Massif, and includes a climb to Col de Sant Grau with a descent offering Mediterranean views. The final stretch hugs the dramatic coastline with sections riding high above the sea. Stage 2: Sant Feliu de Guíxols to Torroella de Montgrí explores the scenic coastline, visiting Palamós and the unspoiled cove of Platja de Castell with an ancient Iberian settlement. It follows the Ruta del Tren Petit greenway to Calella de Palafrugell, includes a visit to the Palafrugell market and Cork Museum, and passes through the medieval village of Pals and tranquil wetlands. Stage 3 offers a circular route through medieval villages or a rest day. It follows the Daró River, visits Fonolleres, Púbol (Castle of Gala Dalí), passes by an ancient Iberian village near Ullastret, and winds through Palau-Sator and Peratallada.
