Why Ride Piemonte / Valle d'Aosta / Liguria

Italy's most underrated high-col region, combining remote Piemonte alpine cols, Valle d'Aosta frontier climbs, and Ligurian coastal heritage riding anchored by Milan–San Remo roads.

Terrain & Riding Structure

High-col objective days and multi-col circuits: Highest col density in the region; remote and self-sufficient riding environment
Giro-heritage and threshold-climb days: Finestre and Sestriere corridor with better access from Turin
High-altitude frontier days and long alpine efforts: Long border climbs and very extended approach cols dominate the terrain
Spring riding and Milan–San Remo circuits: Shorter steeper climbs with coastal riding and Monument heritage
Recovery days and moderate-intensity circuit riding: Rolling vineyard terrain with low traffic and short punchy climbs
